  bad title, it doesn't tell people who are quick scanning how much there is in FV and also anyone know what unclaimed property means? Someone dies and they have no descendants or something???

  Melt on this is $505 as of this very minute, and it sold for $465, so the OP is correct even with shipping added in. As to the time the auction ended, this is rather typical of bureaucratic thinking. Some one was told to auction this lot, not to maximize the return on it. And to Pennsylvania, it's all "found money," and they probably don't care that much about maximizing return.

  Also, "unclaimed property" by itself does not imply "no descendants." It just means that it was left in a safety deposit box for some period of time unclaimed.
