  • Who knows --- you can't get any information from calling the Mint either-----maybe slim to none.

There is a large Modern Coin Mart dealer that continues to have their Proof Buffs in the "Pre-Order" state, apparently waiting as we all do on the shipments.

With many that ordered on the first day still awaiting shipment, I would guess there is a HUGE backlog of Buffs....

So, the 20th now appears very optimistic for many.

it would be nice if the mint held off on shipping them until the 4th of December to make sure they don't have any defects in their product.

    Not funny, Jesse.

Gotta be a problem at the mint or they shifted all shipments to dealers first. My order was placed at 12:10 and still hasn't been shipped.

Maybe I should have put this at the end: image as I got my coins graded by PCGS as First Strike and the deadline should be 3 Dec for FS.

My order was placed about 1202 ET and a friend placed his order about 300 orders behind me around 1206. My order got shipped and his is stuck in the goo. I wonder if there was a MAJOR dealer inbetween us that ordered like 10000 of them or something. Seems odd how they have had a problem getting them out.

My shipping date switch a couple of days ago from 11/20 to 11/19... I'm interested to see what happens

  • Ordered first hour, still waiting with a ship date of 11/12/09 on my order page.
I agree, calls to the mint are without merit. With registered mail you start to wonder if it will get to the grader in time the way things are going. I suppose you could send the box in having said that, is PCGS good about protecting the original packaging when you send it all in?
  • mint email yesterday
my order shipped 2 buffs proofs, order went through at 1:20 pm first day
  • UPS just delivered my buffs sig required here in Mass so hope everyone gets them soon too, again my order did not go through till 1:20 on first day.

  • Received my last buffalo a little while ago. The Mint put a piece of cardboard inside the buffalo box to keep the coin from falling out. Maybe that is what took so long.

I haven't opened my latest shipments yet but if they decided to repackage that would explain the delay. --jerry

I was tempted to go down to the DC Kiosk but the price went up $50 more last week. I will wait it out and hope I get it for $1360 from the mint website. Been in stock and reserved now since the day it went on sale.
  • You will get it. They just started to send them out again.
