Baltimore Show Report

Baltimore continues to be "THE" show for dealers.... its a great place, very well run, and everyone usually has a good time....
Thursday was set up day...things started off very briskly for us at our table 411 we just received back a group of slabbed gold .. various grades, nothing out of this world, but all fresh.... all the pieces were sold off with 15 minutes to 5 different buyers.... from there several want list items were hunted down.... nothing crazy just items that you need a big show to find.... and find them all we did....
from there we got to say hi to several board members... too many to list but thanks for stoppin...
Cant say anything wild and crazy going on..... think its very interesting that silver 10 oz bars are now selling for $200 when dealers I spoke with said they couldnt sell em a few months back at $150..... seems when its hot then its hot and everyone wants em.....
lots of dealers seem to be making some money on just bullion gold pieces (when I say bullion, I dont mean just Eagles, K rands) but rather stuff that trades close to bullion values .... generics etc....
I will say Friday was more collectors, but I notice that it was a tad lighter... think the really heavy rains kept some of the older collectors from driving... we are having some wild tropical storms around the east coast... nothing serious but bit wetter than normal
thats about it.... should have Newps posted shortly... did buy some interesting pieces....
Boston Bay State coming up... then Westchester WESPNEX.... til then...
PS: You know my timing was off on this trip... I even bought a candy bar from one of the kids.... would you believe 20 seconds later, a page hands out a free candy Bar plus ad for Dillon Gage..... yup my timing was off this show LOL.....

At least this part of the market may qualify as "double nuclear hot" -
