The Liberty Seated Collector's Club will be there at table 1555 with some dynamite material on exhibition (two #1 PCGS sets and lots of other goodies). Many thanks to the Whitman folks for their assistance with this exhibit.

I'll be there all day Friday, I have a flight that gets in around 8:30 and don't leave until 9:30 at night. I had a great time in Philly and I understand there is more to look at in Baltimore! I'm psyched!!

Sorry Charmy, not many trees left downtown. but there are a great many other sites to see:

    Fort McHenry
    The National Aquarium
    The Maryland Science Center
    Edgar Allen Poe House
    Mary Pickersgill Flag House
The B and O Museum (its about trains not aromatic coin dealers)
    The (first) Washington Monument
    The Lexington Market
    Fells Point
    Baltimore Zoo
    Shot Tower
    Babe Ruth Museum
    Baltimore Civil War Museum

Oh, there might be some coins there too. Going to need more than 5 days to see it all.

Jim, thanks for all the info on Baltimore attractions! Actually, I'm coming in early and staying out in Monkton (horse country) for a couple days before the show and I know there are some beautiful trees out that way so, hopefully, there will still be some of those pretty fall colors I hear so much about.

Charmy, make sure you dine out at The Manor Tavern while in Monkton.....I live about 12 miles south in Timonium. Right now the fall foliage is gorgeous, you will get the tail end of fall when you arrive..no matter, the Monkton area is fantastic!!! ocon4008 has pointed out some great Baltimore landmarks worthy of a trip for sure!!! Thank you, but I stayed out in Monkton before the spring Baltimore show earlier this year (saw only stick trees then!) and that's exactly where we went to dinner. A most excellent restaurant in deed! But glad to know you recommend it as well. image

Perfect time of year for a fall drive, and there will be plenty of trees in Monkton. Take the drive around Loch Raven it is worth the gas; lots of places to pull over and get out for a walk as well. The old steel tressle bridges on Warren Road and Paper Mill Road are nice drives; then just head north on Jarretsville Pike through Harford County. time your visit to Ladew Topiary Gardens.

Unfortunately, the buck are in rut and chasing the doe. I'll be bow hunting unless I bag a buck. If that happens, I may run down so TooTawl can buy me a few beers.image
