Keeping it simple:
1. One post per seller.
2. Max 10 items ( for heavens sakes, keep the pics small) and UPDATE when an item sells.
3. Maximum sales price on any one item $100.00
4. Keep the comments/offers to PMs only, which obviously means sellers must have their PM function
activated.
5. Any item in the Bargain Bin cannot have a separate thread on the main BST. Both will be deleted.
6. NO Ebay links. Everything must be for sale here.
7. Reserved spots will vanish unless there is an offering appearing within 24 hrs.

Representative obverse and reverse
2) Get a modern commem here! 2006-P Ben Franklin, Scientist. Uncirculated. With mint box and certificate. $28 delivered.
The camera exaggerates two toning blemishes on the obverse, one next to the string by the uplifted arm, the other in the 3 o'clock field. They are quite elusive when the coin is in hand, however.
3) sold Put this in your type set! 1943-P Steel Cent PCGS MS-66. Lustrous, much more than the fotos show. $28 delivered
In the obverse right field, there's a small speck not on the coin and as best I can tell is within the plastic of the slab. It's hardly seen without the camera's eye.
Paypal and USPS money order are preferred payments.
Seven-day return privilege to ensure your satisfaction with the coin received. Inquiries welcome! --John

I have very limited shelf space and therefore some of the clutter had to be removed recently. I've put them into one of those $13.95 Flat Rate Priority boxes, so that makes up fourteen bucks of my price right there. How much are the books worth? I have no idea. Not much, maybe. I fully realize that some if not most of them are low-value garage sale material, but who knows, you might find something of interest in one or two of them. There are also some coin folders, with coins in them- again, nothing spectacular, but they do add up. See below.
*** YOU WILL RECEIVE EVERYTHING BELOW: BOOKS, COIN SETS IN FOLDERS, ETC., FOR $65 DELIVERED. ***
BOOKS
Fell's United States Coin Book, by Jacques Del Monte, Third Revised Edition, 1955, 127 pages, hardcover with original dustjacket (book OK, dustjacket a little dogeared). Some funny stuff in there- an amusing read. Very quaint and dated.
Jim Osborn's Silver Dollar Encyclopedia, 2nd Edition, 1979, 384 pages, paperback, pretty decent condition.
Numismatic Notes & Monographs, No. 57, Greek And Roman Plated Coins, by William Campbell, American Numismatic Society, 1933. Paperback, 200-ish pages (page numbering is kind of odd and peters out after a while). A VERY esoteric study of ancient counterfeits, apparently, with microscopic and/or metallurgical samples taken from such coins. Somebody plainly had WAY too much time on his hands and too much scientific training, is my take on it. But maybe collectible in its own right.
The Official Red Book: A Guide Book of Morgan Silver Dollars: A Complete History and Price Guide, by Q. David Bowers. 2nd Edition, 2005. Like new condition except some faint dusty scuffs on the corner of a few pages near the back. 288 pages, paperback.
The Official Blue Book: Handbook Of United States Coins, by R.S. Yeoman. edited by Kenneth Bressett, 58th Edition, 2001. Basically worthless today but you can use it for toilet paper on your next camping trip or maybe you collect dusty paperback Blue Books or you just had a hankering to see what lowball dealer prices from pre-9/11 looked like. 208 pages, paperback.
The Numismatist, December 1944. Smaller format than the current magazine. I kind of like it, actually. Paperback, who knows how many pages. Over 100, but the page numbers start in the 1100's and end in the 1200's, so I guess they started at number 1 in January and continued the numbering throughout the year back then.
United States Commemorative Coinage, by Arlie R. Slabaugh, Whitman Publishing, 2nd Edition, 1975. Hardcover, 160 pages, pretty nice condition.
So Much To Be Thankful For: The Conway National Bank & The Economic History of Horry County, by Roy Talbert, Jr. Copyright 2003, signed by the author and one or two other people. 306 pages, hardcover, some old photographs and pictures of an AG Barber quarter, and Indian cent, and an old $5 National note on the front of the dust jacket. Seems to be more a local history of a SC bank than anything numismatic, but there are bound to be some numismatic items mentioned. I don't know how obscure the bank or the county is. I'd never heard of either. Might not be as dry and dull as it sounds.
An Outline of Ancient Greek Coins, by Zander H. Klawans, Whitman Publishing, 1964. Hardcover, 206 pages.
A Mercenary's Guide To The Rare Coin Market, by David Hall. Hardcover, 1987, 417 pages. Dustjacket has a cheesy 1980s "Miami Vice" look to it: David Hall and some other guy and some woman, all in business attire, brandishing guns and coins. HRH probably cringes at that photo now. For all I know, some of the advice given in the book back in '87 might have been sound, though. It could be interesting to see. Just not interesting enough to me. I did give it a quick browse-through. The book is in pretty good condition.
COIN SETS IN FOLDERS (3 PARTIAL, 1 COMPLETE)
Whitman Folder # 9062: Canadian Small Cents, 1920 to Date, copyright 1950, obviously printed in the early 1960s because the printed dates under the ports end with 1961. There are a number of blank ports afterwards, however, and somebody continued putting coins in for a few years after that. Contains 36 average circulated coins: 1920, 1932 (another 1932 as George V obverse representative), plus everything from 1937-1966 (with additional 1941 and 1953 coins to represent the George VI and Elizabeth II obverses).
Whitman Folder # 9062: Canadian Small Cents, 1920 to Date, copyright 1950, like the previous folder, obviously printed in the early 1960s with the printing of dates under the ports ending with 1961. Again, there are a number of blank ports afterwards, and somebody continued putting coins in for a few years after that. Contains 36 average circulated coins: 1920, 1932 , plus everything from 1937-1969 except 1938 (with additional 1940 and 1958 coins to represent the George VI and Elizabeth II obverses, no George V obverse representative). Some of the later dates have traces of red and the 1954 is BU.
Whitman Folder # 9009: Jefferson Nickels, Number One, Collection 1938-1961. A much newer folder in the current style, copyright 1996 and like new. Contains 45 average circulated coins. Lacks the 1938 PDS, 1939-DS, 1942 prewar, all War nickels, the 1950-D, 1954-S, and 1955. Everything else is there. The 1961 appears to be BU and the coins are pretty decent circulated examples.
Littleton Folder # LCF3: Fifty State Commemorative Quarters, 1999-2008. A handsome green Littleton folder, like new (it was new, earlier this year). A complete AU-BU set; contains 52 coins. This is a complete type set of Statehood quarters- not a PD or PDS set, but one coin per state. Mintmarks will likely be mixed P and D but mostly P because I live on the East coast. This set was an experimental project for me to see how long it would take me to finish from circulation. The answer? Six months, from January to late June of this year, exclusively from the till at work. Two additional coins (1995 and 2008-P AK) are obverse representatives, showing the old obverse and the Statehood obverse.
ADDITIONAL BONUS STUFF
Five average circulated war nickels for the Jefferson folder above: 1942-S, 1944-D, 1945-P (x2, one decent, one dark), 1945-S.
BU 1955 Jefferson nickel with hint of nice champagne toning. To fill the empty 1955 slot in the Jefferson folder above.
One ancient Chinese cash coin from the Han dynasty, 206 BC-220 AD. In printed flip. There is one pictured about halfway down this page. This example does not have as nice a flan as the one in the picture, but is free of the verdigris that one has.
Some recent issues of The Numismatist.
The box is pretty full, now, and sealed up. So if I find anymore junk around here it'll have to go into the next box blowout, haha.

1961 FRANKLIN HALF PROOF: $24
took a flyer on some raw proofs, some rather appealing, like this one:
more nicely detailed than most other Phils, including some '61s!
(I find no issues in the '61 mirror areas; there are a few light scratches on Ben's face, severely amplified by photography/ lighting
which brings out the best and the worst- and probably the reason this proof is not SUPER-GEM)

All coins are uncirculated and are NOT in the original government wrappers.

1858 Large Letter Flying Eagle Cent in VF+. Just a nice solid, crusty, coin for the grade.
Asking $60
1881-S Morgan Dollar. Raw, but should grade around MS-65. PL reverse, and only slightly so on the obverse.
The coin exhibits golden-red toning on the obverse, with a couple toned over fingerprints, and a blast-white reverse.
Asking $100
1881-S Morgan Dollar. Raw, but should grade 62/63. The obverse is fairly chatty, but the reverse is a spotless 66+.
The obverse is fully white, but the reverse is a steller mixture of purple-red-orange-yellow-blue-pink-magenta.
Although not radioactive, I swear this coin glows in the dark the colors are so well highlighted; and my pics don't quite do this coin justice.
(I've included two sets of images, showing two different angles of light hitting the reverse side)
Asking $100
I will sell the three for $230

as nice as I've seen in my search.
