I saw a post that mentioned order # already in place with LP3's backordered.

So I checked my order and it is there.

order # 32593xxx

In Process with an expected ship date 8/13/09.

Now that would be a record breaker if it truly ships tomorrow.

    Yes that is true, but these are now part of the subscription program.

    5 per order makes 45,000 sets???

    Assuming the mint processed all subscriptions with 1 click, it might include all LP3 orders???

    Yeah when will we learn to deal with clueless people like youimage Let's see......The first set sold for $8.95 at the Mint and are currently selling for around $100. The second set sold for $8.95 and better date boxes sell for $30-50......it sucks being stupid buyers of these sets!! Don't stick your foot in your mouth w/o doing a little homework.....no disrespect intendedimage

    Here in Western PA, I haven't seen ANY 2009 coin in change, and there are NONE at the banks. So Gecko, you are truly blessed.

    Sooooo I went back and checked out the completed listings (200) page and you are correct...there were 7 sealed LP2 boxes that sold for under $10

    The weight of 7 boxes would probably be closer to 6 pounds than a "ton"

    So

    I change my statement to:....." LP2 roll set $9-60 depending on the box date"

    I will add that equating a 4/23 or 4/30 box to a 6/6 box is like saying I saw "a ton" of Morgan dollars sell for $10 so all Morgans are worth $10

    Also....I agree that these (LP3) will probably not be worth much in the long run but will be a nice box set of 4 to have

    I wanted to pick up a LP1 set and I was wondering what the opinions are on the best time to look for one on ebay. Should I pay the current price, which appears to be around 100, or do you you think the price will go down next year after the Lincoln interest has waned? Predictions, please, lower prices next year or will the prices keep going up?
