<< <i>So Craig - you ever look at what folks have sent in to you? Just curious what some of the nicer cards you've gotten are (knowing none will be mine - and that's ok). pete >>
He told me he enjoys doing this along with a greasy cheeseburger and fries at his side. Who needs napkins, I'll just wipe my hands off on this '64 Clemente! >>
Yep.
When he shipped my cards back to me from the last sub, he packed the cards in a box with balled up wax wrappers from many cheeseburgers as protection.
I didn't mind one bit. They wrappers still smelled of meat

I look at the cards when I fill out the submission form. That was one of my favorite parts from the last group submission and the part I'm really looking forward to for this weekend!
My shipment of 74 cards will be sent out tomorrow. I fully expect to get killed on a lot of the grades, but hopefully I have some good ones in there as well.
The correct answer will be announced this evening, all are welcomed to guess? If your the first correct response, you'll win nothing, and like it, so guess away!
Wow...had a busy weekend and didn't get a chance to go through the bucket of mail I received. I'll update everyone later tonight with the number of cards and whose cards I've received. I'm stuck here a bit later thanks to a project I've been busting my hump on all weekend. It's in my boss's hands right now so I'm stuck until I get a response. Once I can release it to my client, I'll get out of here.
Evil project. It's getting in the way of my putting cards on the submission form!

I know I'm too late to join in this time but I was wondering what's the best way to ship cards out for a group sub? I've never had a card graded before. Right now I've got mine in top loaders with penny sleeves. Thanks!

Card Saver I's. I put my stack in a well packaged priority mail small flat rate box.
Card Saver II without penny slv is my choice, but alot of folks like using the pennys. I dont think they are needed and just create another way to damage the card. They can be really rough on edges of some issues.

I don't use the penny sleeves either unless it is a modern card with a high gloss surface. They tend to stick to the CS1's.
I'm up to 4+buckets of mail, so rather than respond to everyone individually to tell you that I've received your cards, I've updated the list on this page. We've got a great turnout so far! Not counting my own cards, I have 1480 cards in hand.
Based on my estimation, I should have another 3 buckets on the way.
My DC is showing Notice Left I think I may win for the worst submission. 90s basketball with probably a lot of 7 and 8s. Grading fees are 2x what I insured my package for.
<< <i>DC shows that my crap has arrived. I'll put it up against anyone else. 20+ late 80's-early 90's Cleveland Browns cards, plus a few fillers. >>
I doubt you submitted multiple 91 Hoops Derrick Coleman rookies - or 92 Skybox Mutombo's. pete >>
Well I'm submitting over 70 Chris Webber cards. The best of them is one that I picked up for 50 cents at the National last year. My best pickup from the show.

<< <i>My final count is 120 cards including 5 hockey cards.
I see corner issues with that card. By chance, has it been in that cardsaver for quite some time?

It appears my scanner is also in need of some Windex.
Can it be removed?
I'm looking through the thread and I don't see the formulary that was settled on for paying for the grading...is Craig invoicing us?
