Is it just the gold bullion price run up, or is there a reason the Jeff Spouse 1/2 ounce

coins are going up?

I haven't watched them in about a year but saw something on ebay and when I was looking into it, saw the Jeff spouse prices....seem to be $530+ for the raw ones right now which is up a bit.

Wondering if it is just a bullion thing or some other reason that I may have missed....?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I would say it is a bullion thing.

I think ebates (3% discount on ebay purchases) + Microsoft's Bing (8% discount on eBay using Buy-It-Now with PayPal) have lifted the price of all spouse gold coins.

A selling price of $530 with free shipping will ultimately cost the buyer $471.70 for a half ounce of gold when purchased with the above two rebate programs.

Some randomly chosen eBay users have also received an additional 2% discount on all their eBay purchases in an experimental program sponsored by eBay which reduces the purchase cost even more.

It is not a discount but a "cash back" that is paid on a quarterly basis. Which should be used on other ebay purchases.

With gold hovering around the $1k mark...+ the MS 8% c/b in addition to the ebay's 2% cash back, all first lady's are a bargain at $530. ( and don't forget the 1-2% c/b from "big crumbs" and some cc have a 1% kick back)

This has happened more recently - within the last couple months - so my guess is that it's a bullion thing. The prices do fluctuate in both directions, so unless they continue to move higher it could still be that the Jeffs are still in the upper end of the trading range. If they go past $540 and stay there, it's definitely a bullion thing.
