3000th post contest, The WINNER is Tedw9

CDsNuts · May 17, 2009 11:37AM

I already have an MJ rookie but I'm excited that my baby is already winning trophies and isn't even born yet.

nightcrawler · May 17, 2009 11:49AM

There's no gift here Lee, just the stakes, lol.

Make your pick.

nightcrawler · May 17, 2009 3:31PM

I was out to lunch a little bit as to when the playoffs were starting. So if no one minds I'd like to extend the cutoff date to the start of game 2.

Sorry if that's not really fair.

benderbroeth · May 17, 2009 3:40PM

pitt-det with the penguions taking it all in a wild 4-3 series win with at least one overtime in the final game final game score pitt 5-4 i like to be therough..but i think my spelling sucks..

Sorry again for any confusion. Tonights game really will be the start of this contest. If for any reason any of the first guys to put in their guess wants to redo their post before it starts, I think it would only be fair considering others were allowed to post after the first games of both series were played. These first two games don't effect who I think will win, neither will the next couple. But I would just like it to be as fair as possible under the circumstances. I'm sure most know I was half in the bag when I posted this, but I really am excited about it and may the best guess win. Good luck guys.

At game time I'll get the entire list of entrants together and post all in one thread. That will be at 4:30 pacific time I believe, or when the puck drops.

halosfan · May 19, 2009 5:50AM

These first two games don't effect who I think will win, neither will the next couple.

Thanks for fixing this for me!

nightcrawler · May 19, 2009 6:25AM

Any input from anyone with regard to the changes, is much more than welcome, good or bad.

PM me if you choose not to post.

Thanks, Trent.

1/2 of the way there..........

nightcrawler · May 27, 2009 3:17AM

I guess some of the guys might want to consider who the Champs will be. I'm not counting Chicago out just yet.

I'll be on the road for a couple days, but I'll probably get online after tonights game... I think it's tonight???

nightcrawler · May 27, 2009 2:48PM

Time to pick the Champs..

I picked a number between 0 and 100, the finalists will have to make their pick and the closest guess will be the winner. I have already thought of a way to show that the number was not fixed in a clear and fair way.

I just posted the number at a secret location that I will disclose at the end of the contest.. Remember to pick a number to add with your pick for the finals.

Well here's an updated list, congrats to these guys so far. Everyone's going to need to pick the Champions by Saturday 7:30 eastern.

Penguins and #33,

James, I just wanted to say thanks for hosting such an incredible contest. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't love to own that Jordan, but even if I don't win, this is an incredibly generous contest you are holding and I wanted to say thanks.

If I remember correctly, you may have had a frosty beverage or two the night you started this thread. I hope you didn't wake up and think "Oh crap, what the he!! did I do last night??!!"

nightcrawler · May 29, 2009 9:54AM

<< <i>I hope you didn't wake up and think "Oh crap, what the he!! did I do last night??!!"

I certainly did.

Not about the prize or the contest itself, just how hammered I got... oh the humanity

nightcrawler · May 29, 2009 11:43PM

Still need ten more guys to make their pick. Puck drops tonight.
