First adult in my sisters case convicted updated 3-3-09

I don't normally ask for this kind of stuff and I realize this may be the wrong venue, but my sister and her family could use your thoughts and prayers. I received a phone call from my parents this morning to tell me that my sister and her family were the victims of a home invasion in Wichita, KS early this morning. Apparently four armed men broke into the house, assaulted my sister and shot her husband four times. Her husband is in critical condition, their youngest child is under observation as he was thrown into a wall, the other two children were unharmed. I apologize for posting this here, but I know more people here than anywhere else. I don't have any more information than that at this time, my parents are in transit and I have not been able to speak with my sister yet.

On a side note, I don't think anyone would discourage this type of a post and we should all encourage support for a member of the family.

I work in a state prison and deal with these type of people on a daily basis- they have zero respect for life and do these things without a second thought, hopefully they will be caught and sent away where they belong.
