  • I'd like to participate, as I've never done anything like this before and I'm not a member of PSA. I'm in for about 100, I can do more or less if that's a problem.

    Thanks for organizing this.
  • count me in again. will we get our last group sub back in time to resubmit cards?
  • count me in for 100 or so--thanks
  • This might be a stupid question but can somebody post what a CardSaver1 looks like? I tried searching for it and came up empty.

I bought what I think are the standard or close to it at my local card shop - they say UltraPro on them. Same thing or different? Better or worse?

    Thanks

Look a page or two back...I posted some cards in CS1s.

The UltraPros may be the right size, but they are more commonly the size of a Card Saver 2.

  • Ok, mine might be kosher. Can anyone post the dimensions of a CardSaver1 for me? My local card shop won't be open until Tuesday afternoon and I want to be sure I don't need to buy 100 new holders.

Alrighty Craig... I'm putting 42 in the mail heading your way today!

I sure hope you're already starting to receive cards... we've got to get to 2,000+ cards!

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

Thanks, Russ! I'm just about ready to start receiving, so I'll be updating this thread with the s&h costs very soon. I'm at work today and then off for 6 days, so I'll have plenty of time to get caught up with my packing (I'm moving next week) and will have all of the cards from the last group submission out in the mail. Most everything is packaged up, and now it's just a matter of getting everything to the post office. image That will happen for some tonight and the rest by tomorrow.

I will be getting back to everyone via PM with my mailing address in the next couple of days.

    Thanks!

I haven't. Just sent him a PM asking about when I'd get my cards from the last group sub, then came here and noticed this at the top.

I thought he said he was moving last week, so he's probably been busy, and perhaps doesn't have an internet connection set up at the new pad yet?

I'm sure he'll pop back in soon.

I haven't either. I sent him a PM a few days ago, wondering if he shipped anything.

He said he'd try to get some out by the end of last week?

Just figured his condition was still bothering him, didn't know he was going thru

    a move.

I also sent him a pm the other day regarding my last submission as well as the cost for s/h on the new sub. I had a few I wanted to re-sub from the last submission and was waiting for them to come back before I sent the new ones to Craig.

    I hope Craig is OK!

Okay, since Craig isn't responding to PM's. Can you guys answer this for me. He said in the initial post that he wanted everyone to use Card Saver I's. Does he mean "Card Saver I's" or can we use the Ultra Pro equivalent. I can not find Card Savers around here and just wanted to be sure before I have some shipped.

Ultra Pro's are ok to use. As long as they are the same size as CS1's I am sure PSA won't care.

  • I saw him last week when he dropped off my cards at the store. He was working on getting back up to speed. He also said the meds he was on weren't making him feel the greatest. Plus he was moving so that is why there is most likely a delay. I know people get anxious, but your stuff is in good hands. I'm sure he will get it out to you asap.

Yeah no worries guys. I talked with Craig via text messages. He's actively moving between homes right now and does not have an internet connection yet.

He should be back in a few days
  • So I am guessing the deadline for the next sub will also be extended? Any other member want to step up and take the burden off his chest? I can provide any secondary support you may need, I just cannot do the sub, since I am not a member due to the yearly fee!
  • If any help is needed, except for the actual submitting, feel free to PM me

I will gladly take the reigns if Craig is too busy but not without his approval. Don't want to feel like I'm stepping on his toes.

LOL! Thankfully no bed pans. image

I'm back at work today, so I'm back online for a bit. My cable/internet is being hooked up on Saturday morning at home, so I'll have sporadic access over the next few days since being off of work since last Wednesday has me somewhat behind here in the office. I have 29 new PMs that I'm not going to get a chance to look at right now, but will try to get to them later. I got a text from brianwintersfan to give me a heads up that people were looking for me. Sorry for the disappearing act...but I wasn't expecting to be away for so long!

I shouldn't have promised to get everything mailed out last week while I was on the pain medication. Add in the fact that other than the first box of cards which was 99% in order, the other two parts have been mixed up, so I spent a lot of time getting the cards sorted so everyone got the right cards. I'm finally off the pain meds, so I'm finally out of the clouds. A more realistic timeframe will put all of the cards from parts 1 - 3 of the group sub in the mail by tomorrow. I have everything boxed up and noted by name, so all that is left is adding the mailing labels and getting them to the post office. Everything sort of came up at once, so I'm sorry that this got pushed back. As of yesterday's mail, I have not yet received the cards from part 4 of the group sub back from PSA.

I'm pushing back the deadline on the next group submission. I'll say June 15 so I can get the cards out by June 19. Once I get settled in at the new place, I'll have plenty of time to make this next group submission my first priority. With my leg issue, I've cancelled my summer vacations, so I'll have more than enough time to handle the next one a lot more quickly once the submission pops.

Thanks for the offer, Bill, but I will be able to handle the next one. I'll have a ton of free time on my hands as early as next week, so this will give me something to do.

I'll be more than happy to hand back the reigns after this one if you'd like to do GS4.

Craig ... glad to hear that your life is getting back to "normal" and that you are feeling a bit better. June 15 will work well for me, as I want to re-sub a few of the cards you are sending back to me from the last sub. I should get them on either Saturday or Monday.

    Take care and thanks again.
