Good grief is there any possible way to get this Mintacular guy off of here? I think if it was raining outside he would probably start a thread saying that when it rains outside do you guys get wet because I don't

Would you be more suspicious of a man selling cards on ebay who used to be a woman or a woman selling cards on ebay who used to be a man? If you still can't decide, how about a pre-op TS or a post-op TS? image

You cannot stop me, you can only hope to contain me rainmaker.

To the other dude who tried to ding my 100% feedback--I think a few years ago I got a retaliatory neg from a guy who never sent my DVD. The sarcastic guy, after a polite email about whether or not his $17.00 shipping charge for under 100 cards was a mistake, "he wrote $ was for shipping and HANDLING!!"

As for condition issue, I have let many slider cards (creases not disclosed, etc.) but occasionally need to hold folks accountable unless they are upfront about not knowing how to grade cards. In short, I usually give a one grade cushion (with a few rare exceptions) and if I have an issue give them an opportunity to fix it without giving a negative.

I don't run a charity: If I buy a lot of 100 NM cards and half of them are EXMT and the other half EX you will hear back from politely and would do the same if I was ever the seller in that situation. Of course, that doesn't happen see my 100% feedback. Yes, 100% feedback. 100%.

Chalk up another victory for me defending my record with statistics and logic and another defeat for dudes who don't know me/my record grasping for straws and finding nothing.

You are an antagonist with nothing to add to this forum but problems. Your record HERE is 0% as can be attested to by the vast majority. Stop playing games and move on.

Sometimes we do the right thing because it's right, not because we have to. People like you withhold child support for your kids because of a loophole. People like you are destroying the TTM hobby because you have no sense of what's right or wrong.

I wouldn't want to stop or contain your presence here. But I would like you to seriously consider that we pride ourselves on being honest and honorable here at CU. This hobby may be a business for some and just plain fun for others, but integrity and fairness are something you need to get along with people here.

You've defended nothing. Things are opposite to what you think. You have in fact successfully painted yourself as every crappy name that you've been called.

How do you like them apples dirt bag?

I bought a 1973 Mike Schmidt RC from a woman who was selling off her deceased husband's cards. I paid $98 for it. Had it graded with PSA and it came back PSA 8.5.

I have gone back to her listings time and time again. Nice cards, but nowhere near as nice as the Schmidt.

The "easy" answer is calling me a dirt bag, etc. Makes you feel good inside, and gets you warm feedback from the group. But what do you REALLY think?

    I think you suck.

I think out of all the crap I read from everyone in the last 4 pages maybe one or two people didn't spend their time trying to bash Mintacular because he may be a newer member, may have opinions different than you, or anything else you feel like venting on. The good old boys forum continues to strangle any thread that doesn't fit in with your interests or views.

To throw my .02 in on the actual topic of the thread, I do indeed think 2 or 3 times before bidding on an Ebay ID that has a feminine name. Not because I am sexist and don't trust women. The reason I hesitate is that the few times I have been scammed or have read stories about scammers, it's disreputable guys who have used a feminine ebay ID and put on an act like they don't know what they are selling and misrepresent the description, condition, etc.. If I know the seller to be a woman (for sure - and don't ask how I would go about verifying that) then I have no hesitation as I wouldn't with any other reputable seller with a masculine ID.

    Ok...troll away guys.

Speaking of trolling, I'm still waiting for a response in regards to your ripping scam... I mean your pyramid scheme... I mean your.. Well whatever.

Since you decided to ignore the question over there, perhaps I should ask again here.

How about you list how much each person paid and what cards they got for each break.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Just an observation....

Mintacular and Charlie9 both have the same avatar.

    Friends? Coincidence?

I know it occurs, but Charlie9 seems to be the only guy that sides with Mintacular.

Like I said ... Just an observation!

I just read Charlie's thread. Here is a guy that wants to have some fun, maybe meet a few fellow collectors, and raise some capital so he can bust some packs. AND YES HE MIGHT EVEN TRY TO BREAK EVEN OR MAKE A COUPLE BUCKS ON THE SIDE FOR HIS TROUBLE-OMIGOD WHAT A TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING BOOHOO!!

He is straightforward about what the cost is, what the product will be. Instead of--ignoring this thread b/c you don't collect modern or criticizing the price as too high--SOME posters go after his motives, etc. instead of simply no thanks, I'm not interested.

In short--Charlie is an alright dude. If you feel the same--change your icon to Pacman drinking a beer...

    Total collected: $9765

    Product list with costs:

    Product List:
    2008 Prime Cuts Baseball Case + mini case (18 Boxes) -2 boxes --- $3835
    2006 Exquisite Football Case (3 Boxes) ---- $980
    2007 Exquisite Football Case (3 Boxes) ---- $1020
    2007 National Treasures 2 Cases (12 Boxes) ---- $2650
    2008 National Treasures Case (3 Boxes) ---- $1125

Total cost of cards - $9610

Add in the paypal fees and shipping cost and I LOST about $180. Some scam huh? The cost of Prime Cuts went up from the time I set the budget to the time I collected to be able to buy it. No,I didn't ask for more funds, no I didn't cut out more products, I ate the cost myself like any good group break host would do. The break went off so well we are doing it again. Don't worry, I will not be recruiting as I think I already have enough interest to fill it even though we made it bigger this round (42 boxes and $11K in cards).

So in response to your comments, I find it sad that so many people are mistrusting. Yes I've been burned before which is why you ask questions and do your research before buying into anything. But to automatically assume everyone in the hobby is a thief and a scammer is a sad way to live your life. To each his own I guess.

Sorry to get off the topic of the thread Mintacular but if I'm getting called out I thought I should at least address it.
