Lookie-Lookie what I found searching my Fathers-in-law coffee can of Lincoln cents.....

icsoccericsoccer Posts: 1,339 ✭✭✭
I would guess he started saving all his cents sometime in the mid 70's. He saved them in an old Folgers metal coffee can. He has passed on and my wife brought the can home and asked if I wanted to look through them before she took them to the bank.........
What has anyone else found from going through a relatives coins??? I have been married for almost 30 years and never thought to ask my in laws if they had any old coins....
What do you think of my find?

    WOW!

I am simply awe struck! image

No major carbon spots so I'm thinking possibly an MS64!

I agree that is a great find. But... shouldn't it technicaly deserve an AU grade?
Don't forget to send a note to PCGS that it was pulled from "circulation" when you submit it for the proper grade.

Based on the results when another member recently submitted an example of that coin, yours could go 65RD. Excellent discovery, and be sure to post the grades.
