Yup.
I need a FULL header from one of the emails.
Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
I had a coworker who was being watched, but both she and her family were being taunted with emails as well.
It was a Yahoo account...without a contact within their system, it's pretty hard to obtain an IP for an individual user's internet connection...everything is looped back to home base.

I'll take a look at the site here in a minute, but I pinged the email address earlier and it was just bouncing back and forth between Stamford and Sunnyvale.
I doubt it is the famous athlete.. he would not need to rob someone else's card.. he could afford to buy his own.. this is just a dirtbag with no heart.
Greg this person IMO does not have your cards. The person that does have them is going to keep his mouth shut if he wants to keep them. No one in their right mind would do what this guy is doing. He is simply rubbing salt in your wounds.

There's a good chance that's true about being trolled.
But I feel like the wording of the email almosts fits the kind of guy that deleted his post on the other board. Maybe he feels like he's being exposed as a thief, and wanted to throw his doubt on who owns the cards, and the legal 9/10s BS just to start a defence. I've seen so many of that type of slimbag.
<< <i>The other post on the other board was that posted before or after Greg announced that he was missing 2 cards?

Steve,
I posted that I was missing the cards on the evening of 4/2 and the other member posted the next morning (the morning of 4/3) that he received the extra cards and then removed his post ~ 12 hours later. I think the guy saw my comment and deleted his post to hide his identity.

Since the cards were going to be submitted to PSA/DNA, the story of their being purloined is certainly on topic, though.

So even that does not prove that he has them. My point was if he posted first then it is possible he has them. He most likely read your post and began his charade from that point.

Let's try to keep this civilized. Nobody has been proven guilty of anything yet.
When you figure out how to paste the FULL HEADER,
we will at least know where the email came from.
We may even know who sent it.
If it's a troll/prankster, he should get some fun presents.
Can't do anything w/o the FULL header.

Here, the alleged perp - spoofer - admits to having committed an
act that he contends is neither a crime nor a tortious act.
The OP would need to prove, by a tiny margin in small claims, that
the act was tortious.
If the email was genuine, the "proof" is a slam dunk.
