As an aside, I find it ironic to note that if the tables were turned and a dealer bought this coin from a collector for that, we would be stringing them up right about now -- although an open ebay auction does shoot that argument in the toe, so to speak.

And, MikeinFL.....since it was ebay, I think things are a little different than your analogy of stringing a dealer up by their toes for buying it from a collector at that price.
It also makes a difference on the pics in the auction and how it was stated.
I think it's cool for the OP....and, I am interested to see how it was sold. Maybe it was one of those micro-view shots that are fuzzier than peach
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
