I listed 2 WTC gold eagles that I thought I would get too much money for (I didn't but I covered my cost after fees). I get an email from the buyer. His winning bid was 1151

i was really undecided to buy this coin ,and i
didnt want to pay more than $1100 ,is that
possible i send you a cashier check and you
deduct $50, or i can just pay with paypal if you
can kindly deduct $50 from my invoice, i know
this is to much to ask but i belive $1100 its
what i have left in my account
please let me know as fast as possible,and can
you please give me your phone number i can call
you

Can you say scam? If I don't comply he negs me and kills my DSR. I chose to just kill the sale. Thoughts?

Tell the buyer that the price is $1151.
If he negs you, hopefully eBay will correct it and blow his id out of the water.

That's not doing us any good ... user i.d.'s are scrambled to anyone except the seller....I'm not interested in his name...just his eBay I.D.

Its happened to me before as well. Bummer you have to deal with it. He's on my blocked list.
Sounds like a strange move from this person since he is well aware of the mechanics of selling

As penance, you should clean my backyard too......I've got a lot of small pinecones and tree limbs that are on the ground from the winds and winter so far so get to it
