U.S. Mint now states UHR coins available shipping date 2/27/09

Just went on the mint website to check my status and it says my coins is expected to ship 02/06/09 but is on backorder.
For new buys the U.S. mint states shipping of this product will be available on 02/27/09.
If a few get them before the rest the First Strikes are going to few to boot.

I collect all 20th century series except gold including those series that ended there.
Mine just says "in stock and reserved."
I don't know what "in stock and reserved" means - but i guess it doesn't matter, it will get here when it gets here.

I guess if you printed out the original confirmation you could always apply for a refund of the difference after you get your coin.

Others may be well advised to follow your example and create their own paper trail. I suspect the Mint will correct errors in pricing if one has the supporting documentation.
