Interesting...
I don't think I've ever seen that green & purple tone together and all over.
makes me think something's not right with it.
In hand and if it was full of luster underneath the color I could probably appreciate it better.

I like the reverse in an artistic way.

Hey! I'm not passing judgment here... I just haven't seen anything like that before though I do like it. The obverse looks much more like stuff I have seen. I've seen purple like the reverse before but never with the green... it makes me question the previous coins I've seen with purple like that.

I prefer coins where the toning essentially matches on both sides, but that one is definitely a conversation piece and probably nearly unique!

I'd like to see it in hand.
At one time, I used to like the toning look on the obverse but I have grown past that.
The reverse looks interesting enough to like.

I couldn't make up my mind about the toning either, so I ended up passing on it

I had that coin tracked just because I was curious about the price it would sell for.

The obverse is NT but I do not care for it; looks hazy.

The reverse is also NT and I like it. Wonderful colors and distribution of the colors.

It depends.

In the picture, the obverse isn't exciting, but I would guess it's lustrous and lighter in hand. In that case, I like it as a compliment to a reverse toner, but wouldn't buy the coin for said obverse color.

In the picture, the reverse colors look unoriginal. The purple is off, and the green is even more off. I've never seen that shade on anything silver. Barring perhaps a rare copper sighting, I've never seen it at all. My guess is the shades are wrong in the photo, and the coin could be quite nice. If the colors are realistic, then I would call the coin AT and no, I don't like it. I think the coin has promise, but I wouldn't pay a lot to find out unless there was a nice return policy.

I like it from the get-go.

found a Ike silver in the plastic case, last night that has a real bright gold tone on the reed edge.

I didn't care for it either time it came up at TT. Just was glad it wasn't an important VAM. It must have been pretty tightly mounted in something for a long time.

I agree that the reverse colors look fishy.
It doesn't appear to be a natural progression; the transition between the green and the purple is too hard.
And the shades of green and purple are also suspect in my opinion (having spent way, way too much time viewing toned Morgans over the last decade).

Not at all. There are more "pretty" toned Morgans than there are sand grains at the beach. That one does nothing for me.

I'm a toner fan but this one looks too fishy to me. If I owned it I'd always be wondering whether it was NT or AT---don't think I'd get much enjoyment out of that.
