From the look of the toning pattern on the reverse, I would say that this coin resided in either an original folding holder, or a Christmas card of the period. Tape was used to hold the coin in both types..

There doesn't appear to be any tape residue, but definately a storage thing. The obverse has typical BTW holder toning.

I think that this is the Sponge Bob, Square Pants BTW. Did you see the BTW offered several weeks ago on Ebay that was in a Marda Gra (sp) envelope that was use for giveaways. I wonder if that is how alot of BTW got used as pocketpieces.

I placed a bid on that on ebay a couple days ago. It certainly is interesting. May I ask how much it went for?

I have no idea as to the grade.

According to the owner, there is no tape residue on the reverse. I don't usually bid on something with this type of obverse toning, but I felt there was something very original about this coin.

It may be a score and it may not.
