Get email from buyer:
"I recieved the boxes of coins today. Why did you put stickers on them? I bought sealed boxes so I could have pristine untouched merchandise. Do you have 5 more boxes I can trade these out with. You are the second person (both of which new sellers) who have done this in the last 2 months that I've bought from. Did you think that maybe buyers could put thier own stickers on if they wanted one. Not at all happy!!!!"
I replied to him that the white professionally printed small stickers on the white boxes were lablels to identify what was inside years down the road. (mint boxes only had mint 3 digit code on them).Told him to return them for a full refund if he was not happy.

Then out of curiosity I checked his feeback as a buyer (he's changed user names, and you will see why):

Guess I'll be next on his list.

However in his defense, I suppose you could have a removable sticker or a post-it note or something like that instead. Me personally, I really wouldn't care, since it's just a box. Although I have to admit, I do hate it when I get something like a proof set with a permanent sticker on it that won't come off easily.

<< <i>Yikes -- I hope that guy doesn't ding you with a neg. Judging by that feedback history, he sure does like to complain a lot! Probably a good idea for myself and others here to block him.

I have over 80 different white mint boxes in my safe. I thought it best to print nice small avery labels for each of them so there would be no question down the road as to what was inside.

This is smart. I sold a boatload of boxed state quarter bags recently, and it took up a lot of time looking up the mint codes.

the mint and still get complaints. You can not please some people.

His latest email:
"Look maybe you can't keep track, fine, but don't assume everybody else is in the same boat. My inventory is set up to identify contents, especially items from the mint. I have over 2000 items on hand from the Mint right now. This isn't my first rodeo. I, unfortunately sold out my westward items months ago and have been looking for the boxed Ocean View since then to accumulate some for the future. You say send them back, you going to pick up the postage? I doubt it. Great, now I guess my options are pay to send something back that is a problem I didn't create and hope to find more down the road or keep these stickered boxes. Gee how happy I am now!!!!"
My reply:
"I tried to be polite and please you. Keep them/refund offer withdrawn. You got what was described, mint sealed boxes. If you had a question about "pristine condition" you should have asked. After reading all the feedback you have left others (I see why you had to change your user name), you are just one miserable guy that can't be pleased. How old are you, 12? Do your parents know you rant and rave like this on the internet? Enjoy the coins, maybe you'll get lucky and find out the mint put rolls of lincolns in the boxes."
If i can really pi$$ him off, maybe the feedback will be nasty enough to have removed.
This is almost fun!

Don't let this slug P-O-S off the hook. Push all his buttons and then two more. Make it the most memorable neg he ever leaves. Blocked.

Just the email I was hoping for!

How can someone with so many new negs have 100% feedback?
What a moron.

Its nice knowing that there are still people out there that are more mental than me.
Perhaps that is why some of us may already have blocked him....

What a POS............
1. DO NOT post a positive on this buyer with negative language. eBay will remove it, and you will get a violation.
2. DO respond to his feedback in a calm professional manner. That you are allowed to do. I would suggest something like:
This feedback is retaliation because I wouldn’t bend to buyer's extortion demand
That's exactly 80 characters.

Done, thanks Russ. I had already given buyer postive for fast payment. Doesn't do much good to hold back on feedback as a seller. By giving it early I hope to make a good impression on the buyer. Didn't work in this case.
Russ, what's the next step after i sent in the request to have the feedback removed? Do I just wait to see if it's removed, or will ebay contact me?
Thanks again, you are truely the ebay guru.

OT but---when I managed a body shop at a Ford dealer, a lady with a brand new Escape ran over the yellow lines in the road right after they were painted. She demanded that the yellow paint all over the side of her Escape should be removed free of charge under the manufactuers warranty. I refused and got a negative feedback

Dear casscoins,
Wow, Guess I'll never be able to buy again. So who cares about your insignificant self anyway. Every time I deal with some nubie no-where person like your self there's always problems because you have no clue what your doing anyway. See ya loser.
I think I have to respond to that one....
<< <i>Russ, what's the next step after i sent in the request to have the feedback removed? Do I just wait to see if it's removed, or will ebay contact me? >>
eBay will respond, but it will likely take several days or a week. Then it will likely be a copy/paste job that has nothing to do with your request, or a denial. Then you need to respond to it with an opening that says "Please read this before responding this time". Provide them the feedback extortion link and quote back the part about a buyer asking for something extra.
Repeat the above as often as necessary until you encounter a T&S drone possessed of more than the average two brain cells normally found in that department.
