As you may have heard, the U S Mint has virtually stopped production of
Gold and Silver Bullion Products due to a severe shortage of physical metal.
While the spot prices of Gold and Silver have dropped significantly, the
available supply of metal to actually buy and hold has nearly disappeared.
Currently, if you want to buy 2009 Gold and Silver coins, you are
having to pay monstrous premiums, if you can find product available at all.
We anticipate that sometime in the coming weeks the Premiums on 2009
coins will come into a more reasonable price range. Until we feel that the
premiums are reasonable, we will not be selling the 2009 Eagle coins.
We will let you know as soon as we know.""
Guess I will be waiting on the 2009 Eagles I wasn't gonna buy yet and be happy with the other MINT stuff like the 2008 Gold Buffalos,
and the 2008 Platinum Eagle Proofs,
and the 2008 Gold Eagle Proofs,
and the 2008 Gold Uncirculated Eagles and........

That should be the U.S. Treasury's call for silver and gold. Offer a premium over melt and see what shakes out !
