How to store your unopened wax packs

As many of you know I have been searching a way to properly store my unopened wax packs. I think I have finally figured out a pretty cheap way to store my unopened packs. At the Home Depot they have these small storage bins at the front of the store for 99 cents. They are on special right now, so I don’t know what the regular price is. It seems to keep them pretty air tight and will keep most/all moisture out and seems to keep the packs pretty secure.

    Ever thought about storing each pack inside one of those 25ct clam-shell snap cases? I've seen packs in those before. I think it helps protect the cards better. Not sure if they would fit inside the white boxes after that though.

    How about putting each pack in a small hobby baggie. ( not sure what the correct name for these fold over at the top and seal bags is)

    After that I would then buy a bigger plastic container and put the first plastic container into it. Make sure the bigger container is darker in color to prevent light from getting at the packs. I would then get a special room made in my house, with it's own climate control, and store them in there... of course making sure no sunshine gets in to fade the packages and elevated off the ground to avoid mildew... OR I would just open the darn things and not worry about it anymore!

    I tried doing the clamshell thing for a while. The problem is that they seem to be really tight. It is difficult to pull the packs out of the clamshell once they are in there.

    most of my packs are slabbed. All packs are kept in a small cardboard box which in turn is kept in a large plastic container to protect against potential water damage.

    Do you take them out often? Once I put them in the clamshell they stay there unless I send them to get graded.

    I store my unopened packs (regular size) in a team bag with a regular toploader behind it but I have yet to find an efficient way to store them short of putting them in a graded card bag, but that is a lot of wasted space. Anyone have any good ideas?

    I only have a handful of individual loose packs, but I picked up some 2 piece cases from my LCS that work perfectly. The shop owner said that he received these cases directly from Topps with his Topps Now orders in them. I've mentioned to him that I'd be interested in purchasing more of these cases, if possible, but it doesn't seem like they sell just the cases direct. I've only casually looked around for something similar from other avenues, but have been unsuccessful in finding anything that works as perfectly.

    Yeah, there's no way I would store wax packs raw pressed against each other. I also do the graded card bag/top loader route. Then I store those in Plano Spinner Bait boxes. Perfect fit.

    I use PLANO spinnerbait boxes.

    I also save chewing gum plastic containers and they work great for added protection of wax packs and/or cello packs.

    cardboard insert cut to size, insert in psa perfect sleeve, stored in graded card box.

    white cardboard showing = cello style packs
    brown cardboard showing = wax style packs

    Does the tight fit damage the corners?
