Here's mine, a little late but since I was taking some other photos, thought I might as well do it. It's a 1942/1-D, PCGS MS62 FB, in case the holder doesn't load. It didn't in the preview. JT
It is health that is real wealth, not pieces of gold and silver. Gandhi.
I collect all 20th century series except gold including those series that ended there.
Took a drive to Portland today and was looking for a AU 24S. The first shop was closed so I went to a shop that I have not been in since they moved their location. The lighting was terrible so what I thought I was getting was a AU58 or so 24S. Got home and looked at it in good light and this darn thing is 63 at the worst. That wrecked the whole day for me. A AU 24s is tough to find. I will keep searching.
Also while in Portland I went to another shop and wanted to buy a couple of Lincoln Cents from him. This guy submitted 800 lincolns to PCGS and they were all before 1930. He only had one in the store because he says he likes to show it off. The coin is a 1926S MS65BR which is just gorgeous. I did not have enough cash to buy the coin. I did get to hold it though. The guy said he has 1000 more Lincolns to submit. He has been stashing them for over 40 years. Darn I wanted a couple of his original coins.
Took a drive, 547 miles round trip, to the Boise,Idaho area Thursday. Found zip in Boise mainly because one of the best shops, from what I understand, was closed. On the way home I decided to swing through Nampa, Idaho and check a shop out. Well I will stop in Nampa first on the next trip east. The shop had a very nice selection of coins and the owner was a great guy also. Here are a couple of Mercs that were picked up.....
Nice double die Tony. Jim it looks like the old saying with the 45 Micro's, when it rains it pours. Lets keep this thread going. When you get something, dime wise, post it here
Last weeks travels were to Spokane,Washington and good old Portland, Oregon. Spokane yielded the following 40P along with a 27D in AU. Portland gave up 21 coins, all dimes of course, and the 45 Micro and 48S are two of them. Why another 45 Micro? The first one from Nampa is just tooooooo nice for my so called AU set.
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

Until then, how about a new pic' of an old flame ... not raw, and I didn't get all the scrapes polished out of the holder I see
