Oh my. Just did my first attempt at cashback. Just landed a 1901 half eagle for $182 with free shipping. I think I'm going to love this. Is there an absolute cap at which they will no longer give you cashback?

Is it my impression only or does it seem that many of the BIN sellers have bumpted their prices to share the advantage of the MSN Live rebate?

you are correct. anything that was fairly priced was sold out yesterday
and quickly going today for regular pricing.

load. next time they should use a linux or sun cluster to serve their
webpages.

what good is a 30% discount if i have to sit and try to reload the page
time after time?

Is it possible that the government is behind the rebate as a way to stimulate the economy.

Bought 2 rolls of ASEs for 11.75 ea. (after rebate)

That's about 10 cents more over spot than "the chosen few" can purchase them from the Mint for.

Tried to use the CHOLIDAY coupon but PP kicked it back.

Looking for a Jackson Spouse for the subset now.

Well I just got my first buy. I knew I could do it. I got 3 coins @ 1.1 grams a pieces so a total of 3.3 grams of 24kt gold after MSN rebate out of pocket $48.00 delivered. So $16 per gram is pretty good I think huh.

I've tried off and on for 2 hours and can't get through. How are you guys doing it?? It's not my first time, I used it 3 times in October. When I was able to search for a store, ebay wasn't in there. I'd appreciate any advice on how to find ebay and get in!

sadly i could not find a half eagle that was worth buying so i bought
ASEs for under 12 each. i will just resell them and attempt to make
3 bucks per ounce. lately finding a good half eagle on ebay is almost
impossible. i hope heritage gets something neat.. or stacks.. or etc...

i log in... then goto live.com and enter silver for sale and ebay is the
top result.... rinse and repeat until i had a couple hundred ounces of
silver.

I just bit the bullet on a roll of 2008 ASE's. Got them at 11.87 each after rebate. The nice thing was this rebate was instant and is already in my PayPal account!

Congratulations! You just earned US $101.70 instant cashback!

Now if they would only hurry up with the ~$300 that is in my live.com account

I don't know how they can still be sitting on that when they just put $$ into my paypal account for a purchase I made today.

I got an 1832 Capped Bust Quarter, PCGS VF35, for my Type Set. $350 - $105 cashback... and I already got the cash back. I love that instant rebate, it's great! 2 of my other ones should be in there next week.

none of my purchases were instant but frankly i had zero hopes it would be. i read the directions and it clearly lead me to believe it was
60 days.

i wish! i would have kept buying ;-)

all i know is that when this live.com thing ends... sellers are going to
be in for a shock when they realize they cannot keep selling buy it
nows for ridiculous prices.

it should make for an interesting two weeks as ebay sellers come to
that realization.

for example, i was selling maple silver round rolls, 25 Oz, for 420ish..
i priced them to move. others have it at 439 and up.
a normal auction they were going for 375-385... some higher some
lower.

that is a 50 dollar difference that cannot last forever....

Subsequent to that, at some point, it got a green CAC sticker.

Nobody knows. It's been on and off for months, with the percentage varying between 8% cashback and 35% (I think 35 is the highest I saw). Enjoy it while it lasts, but don't be surprised if it just disappears.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the yearly limit of 12/$2500 resets on Jan. 1, or is it a whole year from when you started? Maybe somebody would care to write and ask MSN about that?

I bought several things yesterday when it was at 30% and maxed out at $200.00 on each purchase. I would have bought several more things but the $720.00 they still owe me from July 13th purchases stopped me from doing so.

Edited to add: Now it's back at 30%

You need to log on to your cash back account & request that $$$ to be transfered to your PP acct. It's not gonna happen automatically.
