went up there to pick up a rare Texas county script note and they had just got done cracking some PCI slabs. They know I collect varieties so I asked to see, they has a 55 DDO that was in a 63 RB PCI holder they cracked( it was AU-55-58) and a 72 DDO Die #1 in a 64 RD holder. The coin was a 64 RB, but to play it safe I said 62 RB, I offered $200, sold!
Then a 1997 SMS 5c in a 69 PCI holder, they had not cracked yet, I offered $100, sold!
Then I asked about the 3 Henning Jeffersons they have had forever, but never wanted to sell. I told them I was moving soon and asked if I could finally purchase them, I offered $20 each and got all 3. Along with some 90% and 40% and the rare Texas script, I would say I did fairly well.
They also has a PCGS MS-65 RD 72 DDO I could get for $550, but am debating on, your thoughts??

You bought a 1955 DDO for 200?? Well you ripped them off and got a good deal if thats the case.
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
That seems like a great price if its full red.
The PCGS coin is fully red, I don't know what these are really trading for, I had sold my last MS-66 RD PCGS coin a few yeards ago(maybe 3-4) for $950 or so on flea bay.
I agree - $550's a good price if it's full red and no carbon or other spots. If you don't want it, hook me up.
definitely get it. the last show i was at i saw one for 700 in a 65RD PCGS slab, and it was from a very reputable dealer....
Sorry if it's OT, but what was the county scrip?
