Poll: Did you purchase any coins this Thanksgiving Week?

It seems like an odd time of the year to be buying coins, with the big coin show circuit now over for 2008, the major auctions out of the way until FUN, and the holidays upon us. This year, of course, things are different (but I will not go into that here.)
I thought that it would be interesting to see if anyone has purchased any coins this week (or expects to by the end of the week). Maybe we can do the poll again next year (assuming we still have a forum
), and see if there has been any change.
For the record, I was considering a new coin purchase this week, but I decided to hold off for now. It had everything to do about the coin and possible coin opportunities that might arise in the near future and nothing to do with the economy.
Edit: For the sake of this poll, do not include coins that were ordered previously (before Nov. 24) but received this week.

I haven't purchased anything yet, but if something jumps up and bites me in the tail, I'm all over it.

It does not appear to be genuine to me.
I tried to, but the #$%^ coin was already sold off of the dealer's website! #@$%!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Oh yeah, I guess I did buy a 1921-D Morgan in PCGS MS66.

AIRBORNE!
I was outbid by someone willing to pay way over
"full retail". Certain coins prices are still on the rise.
Oddly, the only coin I won was the lowest pop. and I got it at a good price. I wonder why people were so aggressive on a commoner coin, and didn't wait for the next one ?
if certain dates in a certain condition come in.

I got another enlarging lens. they are remarkably useful in the world of coin photography.
My brother-in-law counts on me to pick up 10 ASEs every year for him and he gives them to his kids and grandkids. I bought them in May but I don't see him until Thanksgiving. The other day I went to get them out so I remembered to bring them today but couldn't find them. So I had to run over to Pat Vetter's shop on Tuesday and get another 10. I'll find them eventually so I guess I bought 10 ASEs. Oh, also got a Van Buren business strike for a friend's son.
<< <i>Uh-oh. I need to change my answer.
So what was it?
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Now in the vault.
But to my surprise I found my dads 1988 redbook. I read it for hours.
Nothing could have been any better for me.

Does the frowny face mean it showed up and you have to return it?
<< <i>I bought a 1909-s wheat cent,,please give it a grading.. >>
It's not a US Mint product. It looks like a Chinese replica with the wear artificially accelerated- interesting because I didn't think they were making copper coins. Try dropping it on a hard surface and comparing the sound to a real pre-1982 cent.

No, the frowny face means that I did not intend to buy a coin, but I stumbled upon one in the Legend inventory, one that appears to be an unattributed piece from the Norweb collection, that I could not pass up.

A good surface to drop it on would be the toilet bowl, and then flush.
