FWIW Dawg you asked me a question and I tried to answer it. Secondly, do you feel at 411.00 this card did well?

So, what was the reserve, can it now be disclosed?

    Good for you.

3 of these cards have sold in the past week. A 7 went for 600+ this 5.5 for 400+ and a 3 that went for 300+

The 7 was sold with a crappy scan, the 3 had the best scan.

I wonder why 3 such cards were sold all within a week of one another?

And did that hurt or help sales?

The reserve was $350. I had to have that not to lose money on the deal....at $411 I would rather hold on to it.

The 3 was sold by a guy on here because I was talking about the card on the chat board. I waited until his was done to post mine to try and market it to the people that missed out...which should help sales.

Why is this scan better than my scan? Mine looks as good as it can get imo.

His scan was as large as yours (at least on my screen anyway and I was able to enlarge it). However I was
comparing the 3 to the 7. Your scan was fine. The color on his was better (again on my screen)

Based on the 3 going for 300.00 I would have thought the 7 should have fetched 700.00 to 900.00

Your 5.5 could have reached 500+, the economy blows right now so maybe that had something to do with it.

IMO 411.00 is a lil low for that card but not a steal either for the buyer.

My question now is if you are unhappy with 411.00 why didn't you set a higher reserve?

Then again it depends what you have into it, I recently sold a card for 785.00 that could have reached 2k in better times.

I had only the 8.00 grading fee into it so whatever it brought I was happy with.
