<< <i>Well, you must be doing something wrong. I just put 1 1/4 ouncer in my cart and they are in stock. >>
Order them then report back please. You will see that they just have not updated the web site yet.

"Your order request has been shipped."
But on the item line for each item, it showed "item is no longer available"
Confusing??? Yup, but I have learned to expect it from the Mint...

When an item is cancelled because it is no longer available, you get the "shipped" notice, the computer is telling you that they've shipped everything they're gonna ship. this confirms the OP. --jerry

<< <i>Someone misunderstood the message they got this morning maybe. >>
I agree, perhaps there was confusion at the mint this morning. However, I think that anyone that wants any of these would be better off to order now rather than wait. Something tells me these are going to be huge winners.
I like them a lot!

<< <i>I have a theory on this. First the mint held back a certain amount of remaining stock for the sale period and when this point was reached current orders were halted. The mint then seing a chance to make more money released some of the stock that was originally held for the sale to be sold now. If that is true then the amount of discounted gold will be thin and go fast on the 15th. >>
If by thin you mean non-existent.
<< <i>Well there goes half the new users to this site. What are you guys going to post about in 2009?

Are you kidding we have the UHR coming next year.
have board members confirmed no longer available even though no "signs are up"?
When gold gets down to around $500 or so, I'll buy these around melt, I think.

So that means you think the dollar will stay stong and won't fall as fast as it rose. Boy I'd hate to be you
Gold is at near highs in most countries with their currencies.
