I looked over the basketball and it doesn't really seem like it is worth the $ unless you happen to pull a low pop 9 or 10. What are the key cards to look for in the 84 donruss besides the Don Matingly.

you are right there are no major hitsin basketball, I just like openning something new... They all have some nice HOF cards to pull.
If Golf can sell out all the time I would not see a problem selling out 84 Donruss.

Baseball
1978: $14.38 per pack 1984 Donruss $4.87 per pack
Basketball
1977/78 : $11.88 per pack 1978/79: $8.12 per pack 1979/80: $6.25 per pack
Much like you cry about hockey, since you could not get it to sell out. The current organizer has had no trouble. It was already a guaranteed sell out this time.

I have NEVER/NEVER WIll buy Hockey. He was refering about you about always crying/whining about getting shut out, when you don't/won't respond to his PM's
The hockey was/is garanteed to sell out on this rip. Like it did the last one.
To be honest, I've been sitting the rips out because I always get my cards 2 or 3 weeks after everyone else. And I almost had an order from BBCE sent back by customs??? But they were gracious enough to open it all up for me, jerks.
I really want to open some minis, in spite of the fact that umpteen million cards have recently been added to the market. But I wonder will the price of packs drop? (nevermind, the other thread probably has that info.)
Minis, 70s Football, Basketball. Count me in for all the sports where the guys play with their balls.

Of course not. You always ask for what you want then whine when you get shut out during the 3 or 4 day signup.
