I visited Germany in 1986, my friend was stationed outside Frankfurt for 3 years while in the army, and he is also a WW2 aficionado like myself, so naturally he took me to some WW2 sites in Germany. I stood on that podium as the stadium is still there and is a tourist attraction. The thing that struck me is that stadium was a lot smaller than it appears to be in Nazi propaganda films.
A gentlemen and vet from my hometown was in the crowd the day the people hanged Mussolini; he has an amazing pic of himself standing in front of the gallows with Mussolini, his mistress, and number 2 man lined up with nooses around their necks...a second picture of him in front of the lineup with the three, and others, hanging...and a final picture of Mussolini's body being paraded around like a rag doll. If I remember correctly, it appeared they were attempting to behead the corpse. Amazing photographs though, it was quite an honor to have met the man.
Ebay lets stamps and coins from Nazi Germany pass, but not so much the other stuff. I have seen Nazi militaria at gun shows. That's where to get them.
I spent a lot of time in Germany, and while the coins and stamps of the Nazi era are sold in all types of venues, other Nazi era stuff can't be. Actually, the USA is more lenient on Nazi militaria than Germany.
You guys seem to be open minded about these objects from that past. However, keep in mind that not everyone shares this view. A lot of the items at the gun shows are reproductions since the genuine stuff is very rare and expensive.
There are other venues to obtain Nazi era objects. I know for a fact that paintings by Hitler sell for a lot of money at live auctions....who would have known. He secretly liked or enjoyed Disney cartoons and he has painted some Disney figures like the seven dwarfs in water color--they looked like a good match to originals from Walt Disney Company. He painted well in water color and his subjects were alot of the times buildings of Austria and Bavaria--things you can expect on postcards.

Well , the fact is that Hitler was the most influential person on history in the 20th century, and I don't think it's really debatable. The repercussions of Hitler's actions continue to be strongly felt today and will be far into the future. Again...I believe it's actually good to know and understand what this POS was all about, so that his atrocities can never be committed again. Unfortunately, on a smaller scale, with some names mentioned, atrocities still have happened since WW2 and with the scumbag leader of Iran, according to his public statements, he would like to create another holocaust.
Here's the Hitler & Mussolini piece I sold. It was an authentically signed document by Mussolini where he signed on the bottom half, and I made a custom signed photo by cutting the top off and printing the picture and quote around the authentic signature. Turned out really neat.
Here are a few pics. of the album they card came out of. The cards are not glued in the album (see closeup of the back of one of the pages)...there are slots cut in the pages and the card corners slide into them so all the cards are in fantastic shape. This was an entire album for the '36 Olympics and I only had 4 graded. There are 15 pages to this album.
Here is a scan of the two Owens cards I had graded ...my new scanner has much better scan quality. Not sure how they only got PSA 5's but you be the judge. Also included two more raw cards from the set that feature Owens as well as what the reverse of the cards looks like.
all i can see on them is the inprint of where they were in the pages on the corners?would that knock em in the head that much?, you have em there, is the imprint on them that distinct?the rest look flawless!!!!!!!!
Well, I think I am going to put up the cards on ebay this weekend. What category would you think I should list them in? They are from an Olympic set. Should I also list in some type of military category??
Adding the military might increase traffic a bit, BUT it could attract a complainer that would set the $8.12 per-hour marooooons loose on you.
Also, the bots may look at military differently than they do some other categories.
It's probably safe in either/both cats, but a takedown will earn you a "policy violation strike" that can be used against you if you have future problems.

I tried selling some True Crime cards that had serial killers, mass murderers and mobsters and my auctions were canceled because they said that you can't sell murderabilia. But there are 68 auctions running for Charles Manson garb.
