Seated Quarter struck from broken die

I bought
this last night on Ebay.
it looks like the reverse die had a circular break.
I don't get into this stuff, but it was cheap so I thought I'd buy it just to examine it.
Any thoughts? (other than that it's a low grade POS)

Looks alot more like uneven wear than a die break. Are there massive breaks known for the 1861 reverse die?

I never seen one with a heavy die break. A lot of the Seated Quarters have cracks though.

I would tend to agree that it is wear, but hey, at $8 I think you are good. Hope it turns out to be something great!
