Best and worst State Quarters

Now that we all know the 50 different designs, what is your favorite and least favorite of the State Quarters?

Best: North Dakota (Beautiful and it says North Dakota)

Worst: Alabama (I have respect for Helen Keller but it really doesnt have much to do with Alabama as a whole, design would be better suited for a Helen Keller Commem, than the Alabama Quarter)

    How do you feel about the OHIO/North Carolina feud over the wright brothers?

    IMO most of the coins with an outline of a State suck. (Although I kind of like IL.). I can't believe West Virginia put a bridge on theirs, heck even a leached acid stream would be better. I like Maine, Vermont, RI, Indiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, ND, AZ, NV, OR, Washington and Alaska.

    Stephanie, somebody took a bite out of your Caesar Rodney. This coin does have significant history about our early beginnings. My votes go to Alaska, Arizona, and Rhode Island.

    Ohio should have just gone with the astronaut and either the Mercury Capsule or Lunar Command/Service Module - this is historic enough and the Wright brothers' aircraft was already done. Also, no need for a state outline!

    Michigan was the worst. Designed by Mother Nature.
    Maine was one of the best, but I still like New Hampshire.

    Louisiana's was awful- as were most of the states who didn't settle on one theme and stick with it.

    Ah, yes, just like the presidential election: which is the least worst cand^H^H^H^H design? Modern US coins artists could learn something from the cave paintings at Lascaux. No modern numismatic trash in my "collection". image

    well said guys, just one thing..am i the only one that thinks the Alabama is a bad one? I mean, it has nothing to do with the state of Alabama at all.
