Needing silver Bullion for a good price?

Check out your local pawn shop. One of my local pawn shops sells coins too, and he's selling silver and gold bullion at 10-15% over spot price. But you have to call in everyday to see if they got any silver or gold to sell and they will lock in at the spot price. You have to pay for it and wait 7 days.

This is a lot cheaper than buying at local coin dealers as they are charging around $16 for Bullion and $20 for ASE Bullion. image

I wish my local pawn shop would carry some coins, as I think they would sell. I stopped by and asked them once if they had any gold or silver coins, and they said no. They do buy them, but they send ALL coins down to another branch shop in another city.

  • With a little work, you can find it for 30% over spot.

I dont understand why you have to pay for it, then wait 7 days. He doesnt have it yet, and he is just assuming that he can find it within 7 days ?

You pay for it at the spot price as soon as he has the bullion for sale. But you have to wait 7 days before you can have the bullion, because its a pawn shop. And its takes that long to make sure its not stolen, it has to clear the polices list of stolen items/goods. image

Pawn Shops are great places to pick up other coins as well.

Hit a few local B&M's this morning, $400 for a roll of ASE's, $10-$13 for cull 90% dollars.

These guys are tight and haven't budged, wouldn't even take $350 for a roll at one shop.

Probably paid $400 a roll, and thats his bottom price, can't blame him.

Even the Mint hasn't budged, $1150 gold, who's buying at this price?
