He must have been making coins.
Here, only the collar is visible. The dies are inside of the collar.

he ran out of errors for our error coin thread so he went into hiding. perhaps an off metal error to bring him out. nickel struck on a dime blank .....

Only because I spoke with him via PM last week ...
I think Mr BS is going through a trying time with family matters ... although he sounded in better
spirits after we PM'd ... I hope indeed he was.
I'm sure he will be back in true form as he works through these issues.
If he sees this thread again, I would suspect he'll respond.

Thanks everyone... I'm fine just a bit distracted with some personal issues that arose last month.
I was creeping up on "choose your title" a bit too rapidly anyhow!
