<< <i>VF20 obverse, VF25 reverse. Probably original, which is very unusual. >>
I thought it original and therefore unusual too.

<< <i>If it grades at PCGS, perhaps a VF-25. Is the rim damaged at 10:00 on reverse? Looks like two hits there. >>
I cannot see any hits.

<< <i>Tough, tough date, and looks nice. Unless it's an artifact of the image, I'm seeing some green on this one. You might want to take care of that before it goes to PCGS. Of course I see it on slabbed coins all the time. I think I like it at 20. >>
Stman, where do you see green?

Hair, neck, one breast and drapery. That's what I see on my monitor anyway. Part of it may be just the toning, but some I don't think so from what I see.

This is the more common 1804 B-1 R-3...This coin has a lot of meat on it and looks to be problem free. The 1804's are many times rarer to aquire than the 1796 in all grades even though their mintages are very cose to the same amounts (1796 - 6,146 & 1804 - 6,738).
The prices for the 1804 has been moving steadily upward for the last 5+ years and will cost you North of $10K even for one in this grade.
Nice Quarter!
