  Might be a vam 17, doubled arrows, can't say for sure, though.

  good question. Not a VAM 1A, 1B, 1C, or 20. Possibly a 17, but no one can tell from those photos.

  No way to tell VAM 17 from those pictures. The lighting, exposure, and focus buried any edge detail long ago. VAM 17 tends to be in high BU grades, but the premium isn't terribly large. Maybe someone is thinking 65 ATS. Not a very wise thought, though.

  You can eliminate VAM-17 too, the date position is wrong.

  I think you VAMmers are overanalyzing. This looks to just be a case where two people simply wanted it. Maybe they thought it was an upgrade or something. It's not like it sold for $250.
