For those who've done this before. I signed in to live.com and did the whole thing, bought some gold, and it showed me my 30% savings, I confirmed and paid via paypal. Then I go to ebay messages which routes me to my live.com account it says I have 0 total cashback, 0 pending. I hope it takes a while to show up? Anyone else run into this? Thanks!!!
Do you have to complete the BIN before you see the 30% cashback rebate? I have not bought anything due to not seeing anything that indicates a rebate of any kind.

What's not to trust? I just looked at more than a few and it showed correctly. Just looked at the above and chose one as well.... Just need to use that link, or one like it (I search on zune since it is shorter) and click on the one that shows 30% off and ebay. In the case above, I picked a $30 one and got the below.....no problems (I didn't complete it though because I didn't want it).

Yes it can take a few days for it to show up. Usually only one thou.

This is really starting to get under my skin!!!!!!!!
I log into live.com I search "Gold Buffalo" I see the ebay.com with the "cashback logo" and link at top left, and click on it. I am taken to the ebay.com BIN page for "gold buffalo". I do not see the "cashback logo" anywhere on this page I click on several BIN items and do not see a savings listed for anything, let alone 30%. I am very frustrated to say the least. I do not necessarily need to buy anything, the thing that twists my crank is the fact that I can not get this thing to function.
Beartracks, its not listed on the individual auctions, click buy-it-now on something you are interested in. It will be listed with the amount you get back on the confirmation page if it is available on that auction. The exceptions are people using third party checkouts like activa.
Edited to add: you do not have to complete the transaction.
For Beartracks. This is what I see after using the link to eBay. The logo is under the search button along the top. If you dont try signing in to my eBay then sign out and try again.

did I read some time ago that there was some requirement that linked your ebay acct. and your paypal acct.? Something about them having to be of similar names or something like that? Perhaps I am dreaming.

After a live chat with Microsoft live cashback and with ebay.com I have given up on buying anything with a 4% discount from shopnbc.com, which is the only place I seem able to get a cashback.
I want to thank all of you folks who tried to help me solve my problem. I am bleeding in the stock market, so I guess I don't need to spend any money anyway.

That's ok if the sellers do that to a point, but seems as if the seller's are trying to get all of the benefit of the cashback promo when the buyers are the ones taking all the risk. not cool...

If you look hard enough, and are lucky, I think there are deals to be found. I bought a roll of 20 90% halves in an Apmex wrapper last night for $73.47 shipped last night after 30% cash back. Even after today's drop in price, that's $80 melt value.
Tonight I bought some gold (only 1/4oz, I'm on a budget) for $177.72 after cash back.

Well they both sold, put up 2 pcgs jeff libertys MS70's with mint box etc, Listed at 599.99 each. Both buyers used the 30% cashback so 599.99-180.00 cashback=$419.99....
.Just had a guy buy a large lot and asked me if rebate good after a sale.I told him not likely,contact Micosoft(they said no),need to see the icon/%off on page, and gave directions to a thread here,that will link to ebay,thru micosoft.... It was not easy for many here,myself included, to figure how to do it at first...Maybe get another forum member out of it..

Follow that link and when it opens ebay with the 30% loggo you can close that window.
Then you can use your normal link to get on ebay so you're not using a funny link and the 30% loggo will be there for one hour.
