WOW, $4 each for those proof sets (not mint sets), that's a deal!

Wow...the silver value alone would have been worth it. Dang it.

I ripped one a little while ago, I thought maybe that's what you were talking about image

I think all of them are Proof sets (says Mint sets in the description)..........still got a deal though. If they were all mint sets, that would have been alot of silver.

I don't think that would have been nearly as funny if Lanlord's avatar pic didn't that mule-eatin'-briars grin on his face!

Maybe, but I'm still seeing VERY strong prices on even the crappiest of Bust Silver coins.

I'd rather them be mint sets, but still a good deal for proof sets.

I don;t think the auction ending time was in an "optimal" period.

Is that 12:27:20 in the afternoon ?
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

About 3:30pm est. I was home on vacation and was painting my daughters closet, oblivious to my auction watch schedule.image

Guys, check out the bidding history and then look and the many canceled bids. (He even canceled one with a max. bid of $428.). The ending price had nothing to do with the climate of coin or even eBay in general, but instead is a total reflection of a seller's error (in, as he states it, accidently listing the auction twice and then attempting to correct his error by canceling bids).

Then bid away like crazy and wholesale them at shows or online to dealers. You can make a killing!

Yep, same here, sorry. I thought that price was unlikely. Hope the seriously disappointed winning bidder is understanding.
