Teletrade "starts lots at a % of previous realizations"?

I was looking over their cosignment literature and noticed the statement "If you do not choose to place a buyback bid, Teletrade will start your lots at a percentage of previous realizations or our estimate". I don't recall ever viewing a TT aucition at its very start to see where the prices start off at, but this statement suggests there is some sort of floor on the price right off the bat, yes?

Yes, but it's very low. You would probably want to bid on your own coins to protect yourself.
