No More Checks on Ebay?

I spotted an item I'd like to go after and it closes tonight. Reading the listing however I saw that it states that they will not accept any kind of online payment. No paypal.

What do we do now?

In a month or so, all sellers will have to accept paypal or some form of approved by ebay electronic payment or credit card. Checks or M.O. will no longer be an authorized form of payment.

I am bidding on several items tonight with a seller that doesn't take paypoo. I don't blame sellers for not wanting to take paypoo.

occasionally i purchase a coin on the bay . if need be , i will use paypal ,
but if through email the seller likes checks/mo , i will oblige .
same if i happen to sell something .

For those that end up negotiating a check or money order after PayPal or some form of electronic payment is all that eBay will allow, I wonder what options will be presented to sellers to indicate that payment has been received? When a buyer pays with PayPal, its done internally.

Just curious and I really hope that this latest "bright idea" gets shot down in short order like it did in Australia.

you can still pay with a check or a money order, just contact the seller. im sure they wont mind one bit.

the less money FeePal gets the better
