On the way to a show.....

Today was like any normal day. Sun was shinin, sky was clear, air was a bit brisk at 5 am. I decided to train it to work for a short stint- just to let my guys know I think of them each day- that lasted until 7 am- hopped the train to the Metro station to head to Long Beach, planned on s cheap ride this time because I know trafic in L.A. sucks at this hour of the day- figured with all the stops I could make the LB center easily by 9-9:30, go have some brekky on the beach front take a walk and view the sites before the doors opened.

Well all thoughts were well intended, until the train saw the bus. Thats when the proverbial hit the fan.

I'm stunned, but not hurt, amazed considering what happened a week ago to the day here in the valley.

and I missed a lunch with what I had hoped would have been future friends.

L.A. sucks and I am very tired of it. I will get to see my anniversary of birth next week- but I now believe that I have a guardian, and the wife thinks I was at work.....

cell phone died at 10:00 a.m.- no contact until 1:30 when I got back to my job..

I need another drink...

How was your day guys/gals?????????

  • What do you mean, "that's when the train saw the bus?" Are you kidding? Was there another train accident today and with the train you were traveling on?
  • Wow, I read about a light train colliding with a bus in L.A. on Drudge this am.

Glad to hear that you are not hurt. Count your lucky stars and definitely have a couple of STIFF drinks.

You are indeed fortunate when you are

able to walk away from any accident.

Perhaps there really is an angel riding on

our shoulders, looking out for us.

  • Hey Morganhunter, I think we're drinking together. I'm getting a little pounded in honor of Kory's son.... (it's the Irish way of mourning.) So, "okole' maluna," - that's Hawaiian for "bottom's up." Please remember to wake up tomorrow and be happy to be alive...
