Dip?

i'm normally the most anti-dip proponent you will find but i think i've finally found a coin that i think would benefit from a quick dip

what do you think? its seems to be quite mark-free but the odd coloration on the hair and face is distracting (to me at least)

  • Yep, that piece sure could use a dip. Looks like that toning is the result of an improper dip rinse.

I would just pass on that coin rather than buy it with the intent of dipping it. It looks fine to me the way it is.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!
  • Absolutely caused by a bad dip, and likely graded before it turned.
