I didn't know, or at least remember, That Danny Kaye collected coins. Neat item for sure.

I'd be extremely happy to find something like that for $100.

Just an itty-bitty you suck... If it would have been a $10,000 coin then you would get an official you suck!

    Cool!-

Ironically, while I am an avid collector of the old and "oddball" slabs/holders, the Regency never did it for me- Good thing, I'd never be able to afford a Morgan in one of those anyway!

Neat item and history, thanks for sharing.
Looking to buy Morgans in ACG, INS, IGA, Old PCI photo, and Hannes Tulving holders.

Danny Kaye was also the first owner of the Seattle Mariners.

edit to add: I wonder if any Seattle area dealers will have a Danny Kaye coin story or two?

How did you obtain this fine piece which is highlighted in the PCGS Slab Generations thread as PCGS 9.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I have a regency slab but it didn't come with the drawstring bag. How does that effect the value?
