Living in South Texas, I haven't shoveled snow in 25 years, so when I visited the Homestead in Southern Wisconsin, those 60+ inches this past year brought back fond memories of those childhood days, but I found out I'm getting just to darned old to shovel that much snow.
I really enjoy everyone's outdoor pics, ...especially now that I'm under major restrictions from my spine surgeon. I've spent a good portion of my life in, on, or underwater. Fishing, diving, riding rapids, I've tried most everything. It was great while it lasted.
I've ruined more straw cowboy hats by getting them soaking wet, than just about anyone.
Me and a couple of my other collectibles, a 51 Chevy P/U and the 67 GTO - down at one of my Favorite spots, the local swimming hole near City Park - before I cut my hair! I've got this "thing" for Classics that are really FAST!
Midway through a 105 mile bike ride in Marin in July 2008. 6800 feet of vertical climbing, 7 1/2 hours on the bike, I lost 8 lbs that day. They always seem to take these pictures at the most painful locations. Note the steep climb with the road in the background.
Got to love my job. This was at susquehanna, not sure what we were working on. I'm the one trying to figure out why they packed the wrong size of wrench's in the hot box.
And the views can sometimes take your breath away - You will never see a blue as blue as the glow off Nuclear Fuel.
