I sent him a MORE THAN KIND email today inquiring about the cases. He has not replied - yet again. I know I personally will be done with doing business with him after this transaction. This has been more headache than it was worth and the customer service has been horrible, which is surprising because he has been great in the past. I do hope all is ok with him and that nothing unfortunate has happened to delay any response from him.

07 Set builders are going to be angry with the black borders, even though they look 10 times better than the window error cards
last year! I hate to see pics of the 06 and 07 stuff, just reminds me how weak the auto list is this year!

Lots of trades so far guys, I think I should have my updated list ready shortly. If you have pm'd me and I haven't responded it's either because I missed it or I was waiting to hear back on another trade first, but the list has changed quite a bit anyway at this point. I will say that some of the trade ratios seem way out of whack to me and I'll explain why. I understand the desire to trade based off of stated odds, which works out quite well in the beginning before there are any real established values for the cards. But it seems to me that after prices have somewhat been established that value is a better way to trade, an example: if I can buy a regular mini for $1 on ebay and a Team orange for $4-$5, why would I want to trade 25 minis for one? Or a group C relic which going by the odds would be worth 10 minis, but in reality isn't it actually only worth 2-3? Maybe it's just me and don't get me wrong I really enjoy the trading, it's part of what makes this set so much fun and I don't mind trading slightly in someones favor for something I need.

I agree that when purchasing single mini cards, the price of a regular mini and the price of an insert are disproportionate as compaired to the odds. I tend to look at the value of regular and A&G back minis as is reflected by their sale value in lots. I can purchase a large lot for .30 a card. Inserts like team orange are hard to sell in lots because they're hard to come by. To me, purchasing single regular minis from ebay isn't reflective of the particular mini's value because they must start out at .99, a much higher value than some individual minis will retain. I guess the trade value differential is explained by scarcity and dollar value as a whole, and is a compromise of the two. In the end, the point of trading as compaired to buy is to save cash and to help each member of the board complete the set as they see fit. It is a compromise.

edited to add: another trade off--I have a particular card that if I were to sell, I'd get enough money to purchase a lot of ~200 minis. I'd rather trade it for cards that I actually need, rather than put the money into a lot that will surely contain many cards I've already gotten in my set. While the trade value is only ~100 cards, it helps me out to get 100 cards I actually need and it helps a fellow board member by keeping $$ in their pockets.

I'm pretty loose with trade ratios. I just made a trade list night and it was basically his 25 cards for my 25 cards...I really didn't even
look who was on the cards...I got what I needed and I was able to help him out. I tend to under trade relics and overtrade for
autos. My worse fear is that I trade for an auto and it comes out way higher in book or value the next month.

Anyway it seems like the minis go in streaks. You can catch a guy opening one box and he could have all the minis you need. Ill overtrade
for that. I haven't made much ground on the team orange and the others...all I know is that they are tough pulls...not really worth the
prices on ebay.

The best part IS the trading...started with Craig back in 01 and now there is a whole board full of great traders.

I've been dealing what is essentially 2-3 minis per avg dollar value of current ebay sales of the auto.

I got an email from Lockwood today saying he was shipping mine today or tomorrow and to please pay the balance.

Trade ratios, not sure exactly what to think as I haven't done any except relics so far. I know 20 of 1 sort of mini for 1 of another type of mini doesn't make sense to me. You have to consider eBay value at least to a degree keeping in mind that you'll save on SH by trading here.

I bought some walmart blister packs..they were loaded with the hard to find minis...bought 4 packs pull one team orange, one shark and
one aviation. Anyone else see this trend?

I bought 3 Walmart blasters yesterday, and I received a lot of minis including 2 sharks(I thought these were suppose to be fairly tough to pull?), 3 black borders, several A&G backed, and relics of Carlos Zambrano and JD Drew. Several packs had 3-4 minis per pack. Not sure if that is the norm or unusual??

All are for sale if someone needs anything. I am not building a set, so trading does me no good. Just looking to move them if someone needs anything.

No, it's 80. Therefore, I'm just going to break for a little while. If I hit anything spectacular, I'll post it.

Forgot to mention - these are all designated as "Walmart" boxes. Several packs have had multiple minis in it. Only one pack had none.
