Bidding on my first DLRC auction, anyone else ever bid and win?
Any issues?
Time remaining: 4 days; 4 hours; 51 min but I am sure I put in a big enough bid to not get outbid (but we'll see!)

What did you bid on?
Service is very good. You'll receive the coin quickly after you settle your account.

<< <i>If you have met their high reserve, chances are the coin is yours. There is usually very little wiggle room between full retail and the reserve.

yup. to the point it is not even an auction. it is all carefully marketed
as an auction but unless it is labeled as a no reserve auction... it
is NOT AN AUCTION in the least.
most coins do not sell at first. they sit and sit due to high reserves.
some have been in their inventory for YEARS.
otherwise, service is excellent and very trustworthy.
if i had the funds i'd be all over that 1938 pr65cam lincoln

So the only folks buying those coins are the ones that really want them; the folks that are looking for a quick flip profit probably won't buy here.
Just bidding the minimum increment will often get you the coin. Once in a while, I see a coin that appears to be the focus of a few bids.
I like the quality of the photography at DLRC and I feel that I know what I am getting with them moreso than with other places.

That's a good one
But I also echo what many have said about the pricing.

1. Has no buy back fee to the consignor
2. The majority of lots are owned by the auction company
3. Have hidden reserves
are not auctions, but offers for sale.
I have bid on a few of their lots, but it was essentially a waste of time.
If your bid price has already met the reserve, there is no need to wait 4 days to see if you get sniped. Since they own almost all of the coins in the auction, they will usually let you buy it outright now and cancel the auction.
On the other hand, as a few folks have mentioned they will occasionally drop the reserves. But if you really like the coin, call them up and make an offer.

It was not really their fault. It was a rare early coin that had a price in excess of $12,000. Despite the fact that CAC liked it, I didn't. DLRC was great about the return and there was no problem. They are great people to deal with.

I kissed a lot of frogs at this grade before I fell in
love with this one.
I ended up paying about $65.00 over the PCGS
price guide for it, with the juice and shipping,
but I am very happy with the coin as it is.
