sorry, i take pictures of my coins... not my slabs.
the only reason i would ever take a full shot of the slab is if i plan
    to sell the coin.

Aw, c'mon, you honestly don't think those photoslabs are kinda neat in their own right? Or does your definition of "coin collecting" exclude all forms of exonumia, extending only as far as the shiny metal disk? image

I know that a post without pictures can at times be worthless, but...

I collect PCGS/NGC slabs by variety. But the coin must be a 1938-D Buffalo nickel in ms-66.

I have all the major ones with the exception of the NGC black holder (I doubt a 1938-D Buff exists in one of these), and the PCGS doiley.

Although the slab is not as old as some it is one I'll keep around to remind me that change does not always occur as quickly as I would like it, but it does occur.

Nice coin! I'd pull that sticker off b4 I submit it. image
  • A new purchase. Sellers pictures. This coin looks MUCH nicer than an MS60 in hand. The cloudy spot on the obverse was just tape residue, which I was able to rub off. Coin is VAM 134
