ANA show Day 1

My flight from Tucson was delayed from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon yesterday, which made me miss my connecting 5:30 flight in Dallas. I got put on the 8:00 flight to Baltimore. There were terrible storms in Baltimore yesterday. The plane that was supposed to be in Dallas at 8:00 didn't arrive until 12:00. Got in at 4:00 but was held up at the car rental place for over an hour because they didn't have cars ready. Finally got to the B&B I'm staying at 6:00 AM today. Slept in until 9:00.

Beautiful weather in Baltimore today!

Went downtown to the B&M lot viewing. Only Andy Scrabalak and myself were there, but it was before their official start, so I didn't expect anyone. Then I made it out to the GNW (Dave Schmidt) show in Towson. It didn't open until 4:00 and it was mainly a lot of dealer-to-dealer business. It seemed that buyers were eager and there were many dealers with stacks of coins on their "buy" piles. Everyone seemed upbeat.

Superior has their auction at the Towson show. PCGS and NGC were there taking submissions. Its an easy place to get to, but the room was too small and many of the tables were overflowing into the entrance area and side halls.

    Where is the info on the GNW event in Towson?

    Its at the Sheraton just off the Dulaney Valley Rd. Exit. Stack's lot vieweing starts today (Pier 5 hotel at the Inner harbor) and the Tumonium Show (sponsored by the Maryland Numismatic Association) starts up today as well.
