I just spent $70 on a 1971S Ike in brown box, but it is a double die and the doubling is really easy to see. it was crazy hitting the 1 clickbid over and over again i thought wow must be a popular coin. then at the end i look at the bidders list and i was only bidding against 1 person, but the importantpart is i won!!!!now i have buyers remorse until i see it in hand. Does anyone know if this is a valuable dd

No you are not crazy but I don't think I would have bid quite that high on that particular coin.

I would recommend asking questions of the IKE guys via PM in the future though. I do not believe that any of them would circumvent your bidding on eBay without letting you know. We do have some scruples.

For future reference, some excellent advisors are ModernDollarNut, gandyjai, ProofArtworkonCircs, DRG, Segoja and bronze6827.

Well thank you Mike but the afore mentioned individuals have forgotten more than I'll ever learn. I'm just a newbie that has bugged them to no end with my "previously" discovered discoveries!
