  If you were going to crack it and re-submit it, would you dip it first?
  
  The question is not would you dip it, but if you WERE GOING TO CRACK and RESUBMIT it would dipping it, give it a better chance?

  I think it has more collector value in the older green holder. Perhaps you can get a Gold CAC sticker and have the old holder and your upgrade too!

  Dipping a coin often turns a DMPL coin into a PL coin. Be careful. The dipping strategy only works when the coin has unattractive toning, resulting in improved eye appeal. But it can also reveal additional imperfections.
